How to Transfer Credits
To transfer credits to a counterparty:
- Locate the relevant block of credits on the 'My Credits' page
- Click 'Actions' button, and select the 'Transfer' option. The Transfer Credits dialogue box will open.
- Amend the quantity of credits to be transferred at the bottom of the box
- Enter account details:
- To transfer to a third party click 'External Transfer' and enter their account number. Their account details will appear for selection.
- To transfer to one of your own accounts select the ‘Internal Transfer’ option.
- Click 'Initiate Transfer'
If you would like to transfer credits from more than one credit block, you can select the checkmark next to the relevant credit blocks, and then click the 'Actions' button that appears at the bottom of the page, and continue in the same manner as described above.
You will receive a notification email from support@goldstandard.org of the transfer request including a link showing the pending transfer in the registry.
The recipient will receive an email notification from support@goldstandard.org of a pending transfer to their account.
To complete the transfer the recipient will need to access the registry and accept the transfer.
Once the transfer has been accepted you will receive a confirmation notification.
Accepting a Transfer
You will receive an email notification from support@goldstandard.org when a transfer is made to your account. You can access the transfer to accept it by clicking on the link in the email to the transfer screen and clicking on ‘Actions’ then ‘Accept’. You will be prompted to confirm acceptance and once this is done you will receive an email notification confirming the acceptance. The credits will now appear under ‘My Credits’.
